Thao Nguyen and Michael Rich met while Thao was in culinary school studying to become a pastry chef and Mike was in law school preparing to become an attorney. At first blush it didn't seem like a match made in heaven, but that is exactly what it turned out to be.

Their relationship is truly a story of "opposites attract." Mike and Thao come from different cultural backgrounds, studied to embark on polar opposite professions, and initially, didn't share a single hobby. But their love was undeniable. With each moment they spent together, the connection and the love grew stronger.

"We each embraced the other's differences and, in turn, have learned immeasurable amounts from each other on our journey together," shares Thao.
