It's one simple seal and one little stamp delivering an elaborate message of love.

Invitations

From the moment a couple gets engaged to their last dance and even days after the honeymoon when they are experiencing nuptial nirvana, stationery plays a leading role in the whole process. Think save the dates, invitation suites, ceremony programs, escort cards, menus and thank you notes. Weddings no longer solely rely on an invitation to set the tone for the event. Nowadays, couples are having custom monograms and/or logos designed and are carrying the theme through all of the stationery and right through to their lighting motif, cake and favors.

Additionally, when working with couples to select invitations for their wedding, stationery artisans can present an array of options: letterpress, lithography, thermography, digital printing, engraving and embossing; envelope finishes, liners, address label styles or calligraphy choices, and please don’t forget those stamps (think custom or collected); paper stock and sheen, additional invitation suite components (directions, accommodation details, weekend itineraries, response cards, etc.), enclosures, shapes, accents, inks, and number and placement of folds. Like any great wardrobe, the options are endless. Couples should have fun experimenting; mixing and matching different colors, patterns and “silhouettes.” Under the professional eye of a stationer, a unique work of art can be created that is a direct reflection of the bride and groom’s personality.

Are you having a destination wedding in Spain? Do you live in the city? Are you exchanging vows oceanside? Is your reception venue known for its elegant chandeliers? Do you like to play cards or enjoy movies? This is your chance to set your guests’ expectations and to tell a bit of your love story. Have fun with it and don’t let your invitations become a missed opportunity.
