Isoude

2012 Collection

The Isoude Wedding gown collection is a celebration of modern elegance. The Isoude label, created by Kate Brierley, enjoys a devout private clientele and has developed a cult like following.

In 2010 the Ecco Domani Fashion Foundation selected Isoude as a semi-finalist. In 2009, Isoude pieces were twice inducted into the permanent collection at the Museum at FIT. Kate’s work is described by the curatorial staff as “a return to fine craft and artistry in a world of mass production.” The Isoude boutique, located in Newport, RI is an intimate salon experience for brides. Appointments are encouraged; however the boutique is happy to welcome you during their atelier hours. Each Isoude wedding gown is made to order, and constructed by the most expert dress makers. Each piece is fitted exclusively to the bride.

The inspiration for the Isoude 2012 Wedding Collection is the modern bride. “It is the female form to which I return again and again. I value purity in design, chic simplicity. It is important to me to present options to brides that are elegant, timeless and feminine.”

Educated at the Fashion Institute of Technology, the Rhode Island School of Design and the Haute Couture House of Chado Ralph Rucci, Kate spends her time between New York City and her farmhouse in Jamestown, RI.
