Brides often tell me that they almost forgot that I was even there, but when looking at the images, are amazed at the moments that I was able to capture.
A wedding has a life of its own...A day filled with emotion, carefully planned down to the last detail, yet filled with little surprises. I believe that it is my role to document the details, and to capture the surprises.
This should be done in an unobtrusive manner. A photographer plays a large role at a wedding, but not a lead role, and certainly not the role of director, or choreographer. A truly gifted wedding photographer will play his role while blending into the background.
