Maha Barsom's passion for art and fashion began at a very young age when she was designing and making clothes for her dolls. Excelling in art classes and constantly pursuing perfection she began designing and making her own clothes. She expanded her skills at the Rhode Island School of Design and in Paris, studying apparel design and haute couture.
Presently she spreads her knowledge and passion of fashion teaching at the Rhode Island School of Design. In June of 2006, Maha achieved one of her lifelong dreams and opened her first store on Newbury Street in Boston. Her store features high quality white cotton shirts maintaining her goal of balancing smart and elegant with simple and practical in designs that survive the passage of time.
